Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs says he has said in his speech, meetings and interview in Geneva that “no one was arrested in autumn’s peaceful protests."

Iran PressIran News: "Stressed in my speech, meetings & interview in Geneva that “no one was arrested in autumn’s peaceful protests," Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a tweet on Thursday.

"But when they turned to riot, chaos & violence due to foreign & terrorist interference, trouble makers were arrested," he added.

Pointing to a decree by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei granting amnesty to a large number of Iranian prisoners, Amir-Abdollahian said: "Leader granted amnesty to all but murderers & terrorists.”
