Iran Press/ Middle East: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in the Qatari capital on Tuesday and held talks with the Qatari foreign minister and prime minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

Iran's foreign minister is visiting Doha to discuss bilateral relations as well as major regional and international developments with high-ranking Qatari officials.
Amir-Abdollahian is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation consisting of the foreign minister’s assistants, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Policy and National Security, and the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Nasser Kanani.
Amir-Abdollahian will also visit Oman’s capital city of Muscat following his talks in Qatar.
Referring to Amir-Abdollahian's visit to Qatar and Oman, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanani in a tweet on Tuesday wrote that the region is witnessing positive developments as its countries increase interaction and dialogue.
