Iran Press/ Europe: Nouri, who was arrested upon arrival at the Stockholm Airport in November 2019, has been held in solitary confinement for over two years.
Nouri, a former Iranian judiciary employee, was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in Sweden on Thursday.
The charges against Nouri stem from allegations leveled against him by members of the MKO terrorist group. He has vehemently rejected allegations leveled against him at the behest of the MKO terrorist group.
Ahmad Masoumifar, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic in Sweden, said in response to the Swedish newspaper 'Express', that the first and most important point is that the Swedish legal system does not have jurisdiction over the case.
Masoumifar added that none of the lawyers or international lawyers believe in international crime in this case.
Masoumifar emphasized that all the witnesses in the court are members of the MKO. The organization was previously designated as a terrorist organization in the United States, Canada, and the European Union.
