Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (GZDOC) kicked off in the China’s southeastern city of Guangzhou with the participation of various countries, including Iran.

Iran pressAsia: The work of Iranian director Mohammad Ehsani ‘Smoke’ will vie with 40 other documentaries in the festival. 

‘Smoke’ portrays the air pollution of Iran’s capital of Tehran and the effect of this pollution on the life of its people, IRNA reported. 

It has been displayed in CinemAmbiente environmental film festival in Turin, Italy, and Cinema Verite film festival held in Tehran.
