IP - Algeria will supply fuel for the Lebanon power plants as the country went through a nationwide power outage. Algeria Secures Fuel for Lebanon Power Plants

Iran Press/West Asia: Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui in a phone call with Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati expressed Algeria's support with Lebanon over a power outage in the country.

Algerian PM said following the directives of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria would immediately supply Lebanon's needs to oil to solve the ongoing electricity crisis.

Lebanon's electricity company (EDL) on Saturday said that its supplies were exhausted and declared a complete nationwide power outage, including at critical facilities such as airports.

Lebanon has not had round-the-clock electricity power since the 1990s due to economic problems and the huge dept of Lebanon's electricity company.
