In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Afghanistan's ambassador to Tehran, has said he hopes the nuclear deal , the JCPOA, will contribute to peace and stability in this entire region.

Taking part in an interview on the sidelines of the Tehran International Book Fair, Nasser Ahmad Noor, Afghanistan's ambassador to Tehran, expressed his satisfaction that Afghanistan had taken part in this year's Book Fair, and said more that 2000 books were on display in Afghanistan's stand at this year's Book Fair. 

Asked about the nuclear deal between Iran and the West, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, ( JCPOA ),Nasser Ahmad Noor said:  "The JCPOA is an international agreement which took years to negotiate.  Afghanistan, like the rest of the international  community, wishes JCPOA success, and hopes that this nuclear agreement will result in stability, peace, prosperity, and progress in this entire region".

  Responding to a question about the best way to solve the crisis in Syria, the Afghan ambassador to Tehran said: "The best way of solving the Syrian crisis is through negotiations.  We hope that a peaceful, negotiated solution -- an agreement acceptable to all sides --  is found in Syria, bringing peace to that country.
