Iran Press/Iran News: Following the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, a prominent Iranian scientist, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan wrote on its Twitter page: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan condemns the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and expresses its condolences to his family, people, and the Iranian government."
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, and a prominent nuclear and defense scientist was martyred in a terrorist operation on Friday.
Swiss FM condemns assassination of the Iranian scientist
"First of all, I want to condemn any act of violence, including this assassination, and I want all parties to refrain from further violence," Ignazio Cassis said in an interview with Kan, an Israeli State-owned free-to-air television channel.
The Swiss Foreign Minister added: "Any action to de-escalation must be supported, and we are ready to support the process."
