Kabul-(IP): Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said that the meeting of the contact and consensus group in Kabul shows that there is no opposition to the current Afghan government in the region and stable and independent, free and progressive Afghanistan is to the benefit of all.

Iran PressAsia: At the end of the meeting of the regional contact group in Kabul on Monday night, Amir Khan Motaghi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, stated that the neighboring countries and the region want to have good relations with Afghanistan.

Amir Khan Motaghi said about the issue of recognizing the current government of Afghanistan, when the embassies in Kabul are open, visas are issued, trade and political and economic exchanges are established, this means recognition.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said that there are some objections to the current government of Afghanistan, but the international community should understand the conditions of Afghanistan, that stable and independent, free and progressive Afghanistan is to the benefit of all.

Amir Khan Motaghi said that a meeting about Afghanistan is going to be held in Doha in less than a month and explained how it is different from the meeting in Kabul adding:

"The meeting of the contact group in Kabul was a regional meeting on how the countries of the region and Afghanistan should cooperate."

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan emphasized that the Kabul meeting also has a message for the Doha meeting that the opinion and viewpoint of the current government of Afghanistan should be taken into consideration and the facts of this country should be understood.
