Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iran press, Mohammad Eslami, the vice president and head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and a group of his deputies, in a meeting with the members of the Energy Commission of Iran's Parliament, after visiting Tehran's Shahid Fakhrizadeh Research Reactor and the Exhibition of Nuclear Industry Achievements, said:
"To show the role of the nuclear industry and technology, the 20-year vision document of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran was prepared, compiled, and approved, which was a suitable track to reach the destination in Iran's nuclear industry.
He continued: Based on the assigned tasks, on April 09, 2023, and with the presence of the president, the 20-year vision document of the Iran Atomic Energy Organization was unveiled.
Eslami stated that the Iran Atomic Energy Organization's vision document is the set path and laying the rails to reach the destination, and added:
"With this document, the Iran Atomic Energy Organization now has a proper understanding of the path ahead of it, inside and outside the country and is moving forward with a specific strategy."
Mohammad Eslami announced that thanks to this document, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization was able to experience a passionate, lively, and hard-working year in 1401 and said: "Last year we had 159 scientific, technological and industrial achievements, which is considered a big event."
He continued: "This issue showed that the direction as well as the determined strategy was correct, and with its continuation in 1402, we will continue this movement."
Referring to the meeting of the people involved in Iran's nuclear industry with the Supreme Leader after 10 years, Eslami stated: "Ayatollah Khamenei, with his Eminence's knowledge, during his 1.5-hour visit to the exhibition of the achievements of the nuclear industry, found it to be a good, pleasing and encouraging exhibition."
He added: "One of the important points in the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution was that he emphasized the impact of the nuclear industry on people's lives and its international credibility, as well as the belief, spirit, and self-confidence of the activists of this industry.
In this meeting, he emphasized that despite all the threats, terror, sanctions, and pressures, the morale and self-confidence of our scientists in this industry, which is on the border of knowledge, have not been harmed.
Mohammad Eslami stated that the Supreme Leader's special view of the nuclear industry made the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stronger and more determined to continue on its path than in the past and said:
"One of the points that was emphasized in the meeting with the Supreme Leader was the production of 20,000 megawatts of nuclear power, and we are seriously pursuing the realization of this goal.
In a meeting with the members of the Energy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said, referring to the importance of completing the fuel chain in Iran:
"In 1401,2022, we increased the capacity and number of active mines in the country and were able to operate a yellow cake production factory."
He continued: In the last 1.5 years, we have expanded the capacity to identify and exploit mines to complete the fuel chain.
The Vice President of Iran stated: "Today, our uranium reserves in the country cannot be compared with the past, so that we currently have 8 active mines in the country, and 6 more mines are planned to be exploited by the end of this year. In addition to create jobs and extracting uranium from mines and processing it by hip leaching, this issue supports the chain of valuable elements."
