Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Aide for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian told Al-Alam News Agency on Sunday evening that he was pleased with the start of the new Iraqi cabinet.
"The election of new Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi is a purely Iraqi-Iraqi agreement and Iran supports the decision of the Iraqi political authorities and the Iraqi National Assembly."
Stressing that the Americans in Iraq are seeking to secure their interests, Amir Abdollahian added, "the Americans have supported the Al-Kazemi government in words, but they are doing something else behind the scenes."
"Relations between Iran and Syria are strategic, and it is not true that Iran intends to reduce its cooperation with Syria in the fight against terrorism," Iranian Parliament Speaker's Special Aide for International Affairs continued.
Referring to some problems in Syria, including Idlib, US, and its allies policies in the country and as well as the revival of ISIS in Syria, Hossein Amir Abdollahian added, "As long as the Syrian government needs the presence of Iranian advisory mission to fight terrorism, Tehran will continue to present strong and serious in Syria.
He also stressed the Islamic Republic's continued support for the Palestinian people.
