Iran Press/Middle East: The Lebanese Hezbollah Movement congratulated the Palestinian people on the victory of the Palestinian resistance groups in the battle of the "Sword of Quds" on Friday.
Congratulating the commanders of the Palestinian resistance groups, Hezbollah saluted the resistance fighters, the martyrs, the wounded, and their families.
At this stage, which was the heroic stage of the confrontation, the resistance shattered the previous equations of the enemy, which it was trying to consolidate with iron, fire, and massacre, Hezbollah added.
Resistance at the military level created new rules that would pave the way for the great victory of the future, and the heroic resistance revived the Palestinian cause and became a hope for the oppressed people of the world, said Hezbollah.
Hezbollah added: "This victory today will have a significant strategic, political and cultural reflection on the future of the region's battles."
The Palestinian people and their living powers, all the Axis of Resistance's nations and their people, as well as the political and popular groups with the Palestinian people around the world, have reaffirmed that Israel, this criminal cancer gland, is weaker than the spider’s home, highlighted Hezbollah.
Hezbollah added: "The axis of resistance showed that Israel has such gaps and weaknesses that the plan of complete liberation from the sea to the river would be achievable in the near future. In this battle, the idea of supposed peace, the political solution, the treacherous US so-called “Deal of the Century” and along with it, the normalization of relations fell. This battle proved that resistance has the upper hand in the path of victory, freedom, and dignity against the enemy."
The statement read: "We (the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement) are very proud of the great historical victory, which was in fact the victory of all the resistance, honorable and free people. We are proud of the brilliance of the leaders, the pride of the warriors, the greatness of the martyrs and the patience of the honorable families, the strength of the wounded and the high spirit of stability of your oppressed men and women."
Clashes between Palestinian resistance groups and the Zionist regime began on Monday, May 10, after the end of the resistance strike in Tel Aviv over the need to end the attacks in Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In this conflict, which lasted until this morning (Friday), the Zionist regime, in its attacks on residential areas, killed Palestinian women and children. Palestinian resistance groups in response to these crimes launched a massive rocket attack, and the Iron Dome system failed to intercept many of them.
Yesterday evening, after some news sources reported about the possibility of a ceasefire, the Zionist regime's security cabinet officially agreed to stop the clashes, and the ceasefire was mediated by Egypt.
An hour later, Palestinian resistance groups said in separate statements that they would abide by the ceasefire until Tel Aviv adhered to the ceasefire.
