Iran Press/ Iran news: The first round of Iran's Presidential Elections was held on Friday with the participation of four candidates throughout the country and with polling stations around the world.
None of the candidates - Pezeshkian, Jalili, Pour Mohammadi, and Qalibaf - managed to win the majority of votes in the first round of elections.
A presidential contender needs to secure over 50% of the vote to win in the first round; otherwise, a runoff between the top two candidates will be held in a week.
