Tehran (IP): Iran's President Hassan Rouhani referred to the existence of about 4 million tons of basic goods in the country's customs and on ships, adding, "With the efforts made, one million tons of these goods have been cleared, which will create a great change in the market."

Iran Press/Iran news: At a meeting of the Government's economic meeting, Hassan Rouhani said that the remaining three million tons of goods would be cleared and provided to the people in the coming weeks, creating good conditions in the basic goods market.

Iran's President pointed to the Coronavirus situation in the country, saying, "Restrictions on social distance and smart distance are gradually being announced so that people know what they are allowed to do, what businesses can keep operating or not." 

Iran's President stressed that the educational departments cannot begin their work. 

He said the government would help businesses that have been under pressure over the past two months due to the outbreak of coronavirus, noting, "The government has considered a package of 100,000 billion tomans gratuitous donation in this regard, of which 25,000 billion is related to the treatment, medicine, and medical equipment sector, and a part is also related to the unemployment insurance fund."

"The other part is a package of 75,000 billion tomans, which will be paid in the form of facilities to the general public and subsidy recipients, or to 10 categories of jobs that we're under more pressure these days, which is about 52,000 billion tomans,"  Rouhani added.

Iran's President stated that another 23,000 billion tomans were to be given to subsidy recipients with a 12 percent interest rate, adding, "In today's meeting, it was decided that the facility of one million tomans will be converted into a Gharz al-Hasna loan and the government will pay the interest on it." 212/ 104
