Tehran (IP) - The 39th edition of the Fajr International Music Festival (FIMF) kicked off on Monday in Tehran, Iran's capital, and 14 provinces of the country.

Iran PressIran news: The event will be held in Tehran and the 14 provinces, simultaneously, with 332 stage performances by 2,109 musicians. 

The artists from East Azerbaijan, Bushehr, Semnan, Fars, Golestan, Markazi, Mazandaran, North Khorasan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Kerman, and Hormozgan will go on stage.

East Azerbaijan with 57 performances, Bushehr with 12, Semnan with 6, Fars with 13, Golestan with 23, Markazi with 66, Mazandaran with 13, North Khorasan with 30, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad with 15, Khuzestan with 11, Kermanshah with 27, Lorestan with 35, Kerman with 14 and Hormozgan with 10 will host the 39th Fajr International Music Festival.

Song awards, music and media awards, hymn section, and research meetings will be among other programs of the festival. The international event will be underway until February 17.
