Iran Press/ Iran News: In response to Iran Press in his press conference on Wednesday, Zabihollah Khodaeian stated: “During 100 days after the Judiciary chief took office, 29,000 visits to prisons have been made by the judiciary officials, prosecutors, and judges.”
He noted that more than 7,000 e-meetings had been conducted.
“Also, grounds have been provided for prisoners to meet their families either face to face or by phone; Furthermore, prisoners can meet judicial officials whenever needed,” the spokesman added.
He announced that nearly 23,000 prisoners were released on parole, and about 2,500 people used electronic tagging after evaluating their social etiquette and manner.
“The Judiciary chief has also ordered not to imprison any suspects until they have been proved guilty and a final verdict issued against them,” he said.
The Judiciary spokesman also highlighted that the Judiciary Chief, Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejeie, would travel to Khuzestan Province tomorrow (Thursday) accompanied by senior judicial officials to evaluate people’s issues. 219
