The first court session addressing the lawsuit filed by the families of the martyrs and victims of last year’s terrorist attack on the Shah Cheragh Shrine was held on Sunday.

The Big Picture:

In recent years, foreign-backed terrorists, including agents of Daesh, have orchestrated security plots in various parts of Iran, resulting in killings, terrorism, and acts of sabotage. These plots aim to erode public trust in the authority of security forces through their destructive actions.

What He Is Saying:

Judge Majid Hosseinzadeh has stated that, according to Iran's 1989 Act designed to intensify countermeasures against US terrorist actions, both the President and the Judiciary Chief are required to undertake necessary legal actions to protect the rights of Iran and its citizens. This legislation mandates that they address crimes committed by the US government against the Iranian government and its people.
