Iran Press/ West Asia: The death toll from Israel’s savage attacks on the Gaza Strip continues to rise nearly a week after the regime launched its brutal onslaught on the besieged Palestinian territory.
As of late Thursday, the number of displaced in Gaza rose by 84,444 people to reach 423,378, the UN humanitarian agency OCHA said in a statement sent on Friday.
Israeli aggression against Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank killed at least 1,569 people.
The aggression also caused injuries among over 7,212, according to official data from the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Just in the past 24 hours, 13 foreign captives who were under Hamas control were killed in Israeli bombardment.
On Friday, reports said that relentless airstrikes on the Gaza Strip continue.
Israel also informed the UN that the entire population in northern Gaza should evacuate south almost immediately. It is believed that Israel is preparing for ground invasion.
