Zarif held talks with a number of South African ministers on various economic issues as well as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Zarif, leading a political and economic delegation, arrived in South Africa on Tuesday.
In the first round of talks between the two foreign ministers on Tuesday night, South Africa voiced support for implementation of the JCPOA. Zarif is also to meet with South African president later on Wednesday.
South Africa is the second biggest economic power in African continent and after implementation of the JCPOA they broadened their cooperation with Iran substantially.
Iran and South African have broadened cooperation in transportations, shipping, tourism and banking fields.
