Pakistan (IP) - On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Nakba Day, Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) held a protest rally in front of the Karachi Press Club under the title of the global campaign for the return of the Palestinian people's rights.

Iran PressAsia: The demonstration was led by the former member of Sindh Assembly Mahfouz Yar Khan, while on this occasion Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, Mufti Ferozudin, Allama Baqir Zaidi, Manoj Chauhan, Magan Singh & others accompanied him.

The participants of the event were carrying banners and placards in their hands on which mottoes could be seen in support of Palestinians'

The placards also read quotes from the father of the nation Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding the illegal establishment of the occupying Zionist state of Israel on Palestine, that Israel is an illegitimate state were displayed.

The participants said that Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians and the Zionist state of Israel established on the land of Palestine is an illegitimate and usurping state. 

Palestinians are the original citizens of Palestine who were forcibly deported from their homes and are still living as refugees in the neighboring countries of Palestine and demanding the right to return to their homeland, they added. 

They said that the international community should give the Palestinians the right to return to Palestine so that they can decide the fate of Palestine themselves.

Still, the speakers stressed the unity of the Muslim Ummah and said that if the Arab states get united, Palestine can be freed within a few hours.

They strongly condemned the continuous Zionist aggression on Gaza and urged the international community to ensure the safety of human lives in Gaza by taking strict actions against the brutality of the Israeli regime.

The protesters shouted such slogans as "Down with USA" and "Israel is rejected," while torching the British flag along with the US and Israeli flags.
