A top adviser to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on his official visit to Russia after it was known that The occupying regime of Israel’s PM Benjamin was also visiting Moscow on Wednesday. said: "His presence or absence in Russia has no effect on our strategic mission in Moscow.”
He also hailed Iran’s "strategic relationship” with Russia on Wednesday during a visit to Moscow, part of a diplomatic offensive by Tehran as it braces for renewed U.S. sanctions.
Furthermore , Velayati also called conveying messages to Putin from Ayatollah Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani as well as his visit with the Russian president Vladimir Putin as the turning point in the history of Iran -Russia ties.
He continued to say that the decisions made during the event should be followed up by the officials of the two sides and the related reports should be delivered to Iran's Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei .President Hassan Rouhani and his Russian counter part."wherever there was a problem it should be solved through direct decree from top officials."he added.
In further comment, Velayati said: "Many cooperation agreements have been signed by Iran and Russia in a series of meetings between president Rouhani and president Putin , and president Putin is glad that many of these cooperation agreements have become operational and are being implemented".
Velayati added: "There were also discussions between the two sides on a range of issues, including peaceful nuclear energy, transportation and railway lines, the rail link between Iranian port of Chabahar and Saint Petersburg in Russia, and oil and gas trade".
