Khorasan Razavi (IP) - Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the chief of Iran's Army said: "For the time being, more than 90% of the country's borders are monitored with updated equipment and electronic systems."

Iran PressIran news: Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi told IRNA on the sidelines of a visit to the Dugharun border, "Monitoring the country's borders is different from previous years, and Iran's border control is updated year by year."

Referring to the full security of the country's eastern borders, the commander added: "Unrests and civil wars in Afghanistan do not pose a threat to Iran and the armed forces on the eastern borders of the country will not allow the slightest damage to the country."

Iran's Khorasan Razavi province shares a 300 km border with Afghanistan.
