Iranian Foreign Minister said in a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart that Iran is ready to sign a non-aggression pact with all countries in the region.

Iran Press/Middle EastMohammad Javad Zarif who is in Iraq to hold negotiations and consult with Iraqi officials, held a press conference with Iraqi counterpart after the meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister and President.

"We are ready to sign a non-aggression pact with Persian Gulf countries," said Zarif in the press conference.

Iranian Foreign Minister noted: "During the trip to Iraq, we have had excellent negotiations on the issues related to the region."

"Balanced relations with all the countries in the region is in our interests," Zarif continued.

He reiterated: "The one who breaks the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was not Iran."

"US treatment regarding this issue is against the UNSC resolution on the use of coercion," Zarif said.

Stressing the fact that Verbal pledging is not enough, Zarif urged that Europeans should put their words into practice over Iran's nuclear deal known as JCPOA.
