Iran Press/Middle East: Early On May 21, Yemen's Houthis said in their Almasirah satellite news channel that they launched an attack by a bomb-laden drone into an airport with a military base in the city of Najran, 840km southwest of Riyadh which lies on the Saudi-Yemen border.
They struck the arms depot with a Qasef-2K drone, a week after coordinated strikes on a Saudi oil pipeline.
Saudis have acknowledged the attack but there is no information about the extent of damage and number of casualties.
Last year, a report by The New York Times said that US intelligence analysts were based in Najran, assisting the Saudis and a US Army Green Berets deployment on the border.
According to Al Jazeera, the Pentagon and the US military's Central Command did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
After more than four years of war against Yemeni people by Saudi-led coalition, a humanitarian crisis which UN describes as the world's worst one, has made 3.3 million people displaced and 24.1 million - more than two-thirds of the population - in need of aid.
Yemen's minister of public health and population, Taha Al-Mutwakel said that Saudi-led blockade has turned the Yemen into an open-air prison while at least 425 medical centres have been targeted directly by Saudi-led coalition attacks.
Now, Yemeni people are defending their homeland against the Saudi-led coalition' bombardment by launching missiles and drone attacks. 101/214
