Syrian forces found a large cache of weapons, ammunition and even medicines and medical supplies after regaining control over Quneitra in south-western Syria.

Iran Press/Middle East: The Syrian army has seized a large cache of weapons and medical supplies, combing the Al-Quneitra countryside in southwest of the country, according to Syria's SANA news agency.

The Syrian government has regained control over most of the country's territories and now it is focusing on creating favourable conditions for refugees and displaced persons to come back to their homes.

The mentioned cache of weaponry in Quneitra included a large number of weapons and various types of ammunition and suggests the terrorists fled the area in a hurry.

The weapons reportedly belonged to the terrorists that previously controlled this part of Syria, before they were transferred to Idlib province as part of an agreement.

SANA’s reporter in Quneitra had said before in August 2018 that the last batch of terrorists left the town of Jubbata al-Khashab and surrounding villages in six buses, leaving the area via the Ofania corridor, and moving to northern Syria.
