CIA says Bin Salman ordered Khashoggi assassination: Washington Post

Saudi Arabia admitted weeks later that he was killed there, blaming his death on a group of rogue Saudi operatives.

A footage released by Turkish media shows the arrival of some of the members of the hit team at the Saudi consul-general's residence in Istanbul on the day that Khashoggi was killed inside the Saudi consulate.

Turkey said the killing was ordered at the highest level of Saudi leadership, implying Prince Mohammed Bin Salman was behind the murder. The kingdom has maintained the crown prince, also known as MBS, had no knowledge of the killing. However, the CIA reported in November that the crown prince had personally ordered the killing of Khashoggi.

Audio tapes in possession of the Turkish government also show that personal body guards of Mohammed Bin Salman were involved in the murder of the journalist.    103/ 211 / 210
