One of the ringleaders of the Daesh terrorist group, nicknamed ‘vampire’ , was killed in an operation in Al Anbar province, in western Iraq.

According to Iraqi security sources, Abu Taha Tunisi, together with 9 other Daesh terrorists, were killed in an operation by Iraqi Special Forces. 

During the operation, Iraqi forces discovered hidden tunnels containing weapons, narcotics and alcoholic drinks.

Despite the fall of Daesh terrorist group ( also known as ISIS),  Takfiri terrorists still conduct sporadic operations in Baghdad, as well as in north, east and west of Iraq.

Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) also on Saturday launched an operation to clean Tuz Khurmatu city  of Daesh terrorists.  Tuz Khurmatu city is located south of Kirkuk.
