Iran press/Iran news: Exhibition of art and handicraft works of women artists from Iran and 30 other Islamic countries was opened on Saturday night at the Islamic Art University of Tabriz, northwest of Iran.
The exhibition opened with the presence of the vice president of Iran for women and family affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar will last for five days, Iran Press reported.
Head of the Handicrafts Development Program of the Islamic world, Naziyeh Marouf has also participated in the opening ceremony of Islamic World Women's art exhibition in Tabriz.
The exhibition is a side section of the 4th Tabriz International Festival for Islamic Arts, Crafts, and Creativity.
Artists from Islamic Republic of Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Oman, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, India, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt have taken part in this exhibition.
