Iran press/ Iran news: The 30th demise anniversary of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini (RA) as well as the commemoration of martyrs of Khordad 15 (corresponding to June 5) was held on behalf of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the Holy city of Qom on Monday evening.
According to Iran press, the event was held in the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masume (SA) or better said the sister of 8th Shia Imam Reza (AS).
The ceremony was attended by Iran's senior cleric and Islamic scholars including head of the Leader's office Ayatollah Mohammadi Golpayegani, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani and Ayatollah Sobhani as well as other Iran' senior clerics together with Qom high ranking officials.
