Iran Press/Iran News: Oman’s Foreign Minister, Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah said the country is concerned about Iran and US tension and makes all efforts with other countries' assist to neutralize the intense friction between Iran and the US, Iran press reported.
In an interview with BBC Arabic being asked whether Oman will play a mediator role in Iran-US relations, bin Alawi said: "Really not, we are not the mediator as you consider."
Oman which maintains friendly ties with both the United States and Iran has previously been an important go-between the two countries, in some sensitive stages.104/209
