The Turkish ambassador to Tehran, has called for strengthening of ties between Tehran and Ankara, hoping that Iran and Turkey could tackle their problems and expand their bilateral ties.

Iran Press/Iran news: Derya Ors, Turkey's ambassador to Iran in an interview with Iran Press on Saturday said Turkish businessmen are investing in Iran and have an active presence in the Iranian market, but bureaucracy and minor economic obstacles should be removed as soon as possible to facilitate business and trade further.

The ambassador continued: "I am eager and want to see significant numbers of businessmen and investors from Turkey to come here and kick off their businesses in Iran soon."

The Turkish ambassador added: "The door to negotiations is wide open both for Turkey and Iran."

He said this summer or autumn the joint economic commission of Iran and Turkey will convene in order to evaluate and discuss the ups and downs of trade and business relationship.

He added: "I hope these two big countries can cooperate closely, tackling problems and expanding their bilateral ties." 101/211
