Iran Press/Iran news: Thanks to the hard efforts of the Iranian rescue workers, the access roads to Pol-e-Dokhtar in the Western province of Lorestan have been made so that the aids and services would be given to the flood-stricken areas.
The city of 'Pol-e-Dokhtar' experienced some of the heaviest rains and flooding in the province. For the same reason, all of the access ways to the area had been cut off and aid packages have been sent to pol-e Dokhtar by helicopters, reported Iran Press.
With Pol-e-Dokhtar still being surrounded by flood water, the first air operation has been done to provide the flood-stricken areas with aid packages to the people on Tuesday by helicopters and the scheduled air operations are underway to save the people's lives.
Furthermore, Iran's Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran including the Army and the Revolutionary Guard Corps have used all their equipment to help the people in Pole Dokhtar and Mamulan whose lives have been affected by the flood.
Mamulan is a city in Pol-e Dokhtar County, Lorestan Province, where the unprecedented floods have surprised the locals as well as tourists visiting the province for Nowruz.
Meanwhile, flooding in the city of Pol-e-Dokhtar damaged residential homes and public buildings and infrastructure.105/203
