Iranian Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar

Iran's Vice President for Women and Family Affairs emphasized on a nationwide project to train young women, particularly those with the university and college degrees, developing their entrepreneurship skills.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Vice President for Women and Family Affairs, Masoumeh Ebtekar added: "180,000 billion Rials have been spent on this project, training women in towns, villages and rural areas."

Talking to Aljazeera television she added: "I think that people have learned how to increase their resilience in difficult times."

"This nation has withstood a war in which the whole world was practically against Iran when Saddam regime attacked (the country). They have learned to be patient and to strengthen their internal capacities," Iran's Vice President for Women and Family Affairs noted.

She also said: "I think we've moved ahead but there is still a long way to go to achieve those sublime goals. We still have a lot to do." 208/211/104
