The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has emphasized that after 40 years of the Islamic Revolution, the enemies have become weaker and Islamic Iran has grown stronger during these years, indicating divine providence and the Almighty's support for the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to an Iran Press report, quoting from the Leader's official website, on Tuesday morning the Leader received a gathering of religious eulogists, with the meeting taking place on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad's daughter, Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her).

Her birth anniversary is designated as national Woman's and Mother's Day in Iran.

The Leader congratulated everyone on the auspicious occasion of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra's (peace be upon her) birth anniversary and went on to describe religious eulogists as an asset for the Islamic Republic which helps us achieve the objectives of the Islamic Revolution.

In further comments, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said: "The clash of truth against falsehood today is very similar to the clash of truth against falsehood in the days of divine prophets and in the early days of Islam. Despite greater numbers and superior weaponry, the falsehood front was destroyed in ancient times, by divine providence, and the same fate awaits the enemies of the Islamic Revolution today. Thus we must not be afraid of the enemy, and we must not miscalculate."

Importance of family in Islam

Turning to the importance and status of family in Islam, the Leader said: "Family is very important from Islam's point of view, and forming a family is God's tradition. However, the enemies of humanity, that is the capitalist West and the Zionists, want to destroy the foundations of family throughout the world. Thus, it is important for us to preserve and strengthen the foundations of family life, and all of us need to strive to achieve this."

Turning to the impact and effectiveness of lamentations and eulogies song by religious eulogists, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "These songs, lamentations and eulogies should be inspired by Islam and the Holy Quran and should be based upon the teachings of the Quran and Islam. The songs and lamentations should be thought-provoking and inspiring and delivered with artistic talent. They should promote Islam and Islamic teachings. The songs, lamentations and eulogies, if properly used, can have a significant impact on the immense movement of the Islamic Ummah and the Iranian nation."
