Iran Press/Iran news: "In my opinion, approving FATF (Financial Action Task Force), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) , and Palermo bills have no effect on sanctions imposed on Iran," Member of Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyyed Hossein Naghavi Hosseini said on Sunday in an exclusive interview with Iran Press.
"Expediency Discernment Council is reviewing FATF, CFT, and Palermo bills, and their opponents and supporters each have their specific points. But the important point is that by the US sanctions imposed against Iran, the importance of FATF, CFT, and Palermo have lessened comparing to the past," the Iranian MP added.
"Iran's question is clear. If FATF, CFT, and Palermo will be approved by the country, does it have any effect on the sanctions or Iran's problems for financial transactions or on the country's system for selling oil," Naghavi Hosseini added. 101/201/213
