Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader expressed his hope and optimism about thriving unity in the Islamic world.

Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Hassan Abutorabi  said: "Holding unity conference in which Sunni and Shia scholars from Iran and other parts of Islamic world took part, can be a big step to solidify unity in the Islamic Ummah and to improve their authority to defend interests and benefits.

"I hope that, with strengthening bonds to Quran, following customs of the Holly Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt and following guidance of the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Islamic Ummah can manage to thrive its unity in the best possible manner and achieve important victories", said Aboutorabi on the sideline of the 'World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought'.105/212/213
