An exhibition displaying photos of Islamic Revolution opened at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran on Friday, marking the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to Iran Press, an exhibition of Islamic Revolution's photos opened at the Iranian Artists Forum on February 1, while the 3rd Fajr Handicrafts Festival, which brings together works from all over Iran, is also being held at the same venue.

Over 90 photographs are on view at the exhibit 'Days of Revolution', which is part of the 11th Fajr Festival of Visual Arts, the organizers announced.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyyed Abbas Salehi.

'Days of Revolution' will be running until February 18.

Handicrafts festival organized by the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, will showcase woodwork, illuminated manuscript, miniature paintings, textile printing, enamel work, leatherwork, calligraphy, metalwork, mirror work, and marquetry, among other handicrafts.

It will also feature potteries, ceramics, personal ornamentation, rugs and carpets.

Iran’s handicrafts exports reached $107 million in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2018), growing 9.5 percent year on year.  103/211/209
