Iran launches two satellites into the space: Rouhani
Iranian president said that his country will soon launch two satellites into the space.
Iran Press/Iran news: Addressing people of the Golestan Province in Gonbade Kavoos’ Takhti Stadium on Monday, Hassan Rouhani added that, we are proud of our missiles and soon will launch satellites into the space and will continue with its aerospace program.
He said that homegrown ‘Payam’ satellite will be put into orbit at an altitude of 600 kilometers above Earth on a satellite-carrier rocket in the coming days. Rouhani added that the two are made by Iranian scientists at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT).
The president explained that Payam is Iran’s first operational satellite with a mission to send daily information about the country's climate and agricultural lands.
He added that the satellite would pass over Iran’s airspace six times a day.
Rouhani also said that today's security, people's vigilance and scientific progress are our pride.
Pointing out that Golestan province is the province of unity among all ethnic and religious groups, Rouhani added that the historical land of Golestan has been the host of great people.
He also said that all we have smelt in Golestan is unity and fraternity and we respect the elders of the province for providing this unity.
Rouhani added that people of Golestan have always been brave border guards of Islam.
He reiterated that January 16, 1979 was the day that the dictator left this land and today, it is the Iranian nation who decide for everything in the country.
Rouhani stated that I respect people’s greatness and I'm sure that we will leave problems behind us.
Rouhani added enemies want to put restrictions on our food, medicine and equipment but we have the best relations with our neighbors than ever.
He also said that I appreciate the people and authorities of Golestan for decreasing unemployment rate.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran added that in year 1398, a vast development will be made in the housing industry.
We encourage banks to invest in Golestan Province tourism, he said. He added that roughly $150m of loans has been allocated for tourism sector.
Rouhani also said that I had promised 22k hectares of drainage in the province, but we reached 34k and we will put drainage system for 50k hectares more in the province to help agriculture.
The Incheh Borun-Garmsar railway will be operationalised soon, said the President, adding, “Carrying cargo through this railway has increased from 2 to 12 million tonnes”.
“The Incheh Borun Free Zone will bring a great development for the province,” continued Rouhani.
Stating that the United States has imposed restrictions on banks, oil and shipping, he said, “This is hard, but we will prevail over them”.
He continued, “In hard days, we need to stand together. The government will serve people with all its might”.
The President also added, “By the end of the 12th Government, 1000 new beds will be added to hospitals nationwide”.101/202
