The top commander of Basij (volunteer) force Brigadier General Gholam-Hossein Gheib-Parvar said enemies of the Islamic Revolution are declining.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Tuesday at the second National Conference of Narrators of Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defence era (the eight-year-imposed war on Iran), General Gheib-Parvar referred to the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and said: "Our revolution is unique and unrivalled. If we compare the Islamic revolution to other revolutions in the world, our revolution surpasses all other revolutions."

He added: "We are overcoming problems. The ill-wishers who want to defeat the revolution - and US president is among them - are facing decline and collapse."

Turning to Iran's scientific and technological advancement, Brigadier General Gheib-Parvar said: "The achievements of the Islamic Revolution are enormous. Today, the deputy science minister announced that as far as scientific and technological growth is concerned, Iran is ranked number one in the world. Iran's remarkable advancement in science and technology is undoubtedly a blessing of the revolution. Of course, we do have problems, and every country in the world has problems. We must advertise and promote the Islamic revolution. The children of the Islamic revolution must show the world our achievements."

The commander of Iran's Basij force added: "Our revolution is unique. The role played by the people in maintaining and protecting the revolution is extremely important."

The second National Conference of Narrators of Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defence era is being held in Tehran.
