Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at a cabinet session on Sunday evening, President Hassan Rouhani said, “Despite the American’s efforts to interfere in OPEC affairs and attempting to disrupt the balance, with the resistance of member countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran and the oil minister, Bijan Zanganeh, their plots were foiled, marking another failure for them.”
The 14-member OPEC in its 175th session in Vienna, Austria on Friday, agreed on OPEC members cutting their supply by 800,000 barrels and the non-OPEC members by 400,000 barrels per day, (1,200,000) barrels in combination, Iran press reported.
Iran will be exempted from such a cut due to the sanctions.
