Iran's Foreign Minister asked all sides of the intra-Yemeni talks to enter a constructive engagement to put an end to the crisis.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote in a Tweet on Monday: “Iran supports the upcoming intra-Yemeni talks in Sweden. All sides should enter constructive and responsible engagement to end the crisis in #Yemen.”

Iran's Foreign Minister added: “The world has historic responsibility to back dialogue by halting arming of aggressors." 

On Dec. 02, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message condemns the US complicity in war against Syria and Yemen.

Zarif also published the statement of Iran’s Foreign Ministry in support of Yemeni-Yemeni talks.

The statement highlights that Tehran is ready to help alleviate the worsening situation in Yemen, calling on the international community to speed up the operations to send humanitarian aids to the war-torn country.

It urges the sides to seize the opportunity to take effective steps toward confidence-building and reaching a comprehensive consensus over the issue so as to put an end to the dire situation of Yemeni people.

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries, has engaged in military aggression against Yemen and ground sieges, naval and air strikes since March 2015.

The war initiated by Saudi Arabia and its' allies in Yemen has killed more than 14,000 Yemeni people, injured tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
