Iran's foreign ministry spokesman condemned the terrorists attack in a market in Pakistan and offered his condolence to the families of the victims.

Iran PressIran news: Bahram Qasemi said that Iran sympathizes with Pakistan over terrorist attack, which claimed lives of dozens of innocent people, Mehr News Agency reported.

He wished speedy recovery of the people injured in the brutal attack.

Iranian spokesman also slammed the failed suicide attack on the Chinese consulate in Pakistan's Karachi.

Qasemi expressed happiness over failure of the attack and health of the Chinese consulate employees.

The official called foe serious and collective effort by all countries against the sinister phenomenon of terrorism and the inhuman actions committed by terrorists.

A suicide bomber killed at least 30 people at a market in northern Pakistan just hours after gunman assaulted the Chinese Consulate in the southern city of Karachi, killing four and injured some others.

Violence in Pakistan has however dropped significantly since the country's deadliest-ever militant attack, an assault on a school in the northwestern city of Peshawar in 2014 that killed more than 150 people, most of them children.
