Iran News: Brigadier General Hossein Salami was addressing the international conference on defending the oppressed Yemeni people in Tehran on Thursday, when he referred to the message of Maba'ath, Unity Week, which is that "Islam does not consider the geographical boundaries to be a factor in the separation of hearts for Muslims. Our true boundaries are our identity and beliefs," Iran Press News Agency reported.

"So if we support Palestine, give moral support to the oppressed Yemeni people, voice concern for Iraqis and Syrians, and think about Afghanistan, this attitude has been taken from the deep philosophy of Islam."
Brigadier General Salami added: "Today we have gathered to announce our support for the Yemeni people. What has happened in the Islamic world during the past one hundred years, is due to the United States, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, and this is the catastrophic geometry of the Islamic world."
Salami reiterated the fact that America believes it cannot act as the world's greatest power without political and cultural domination over the Islamic world.
He said the U.S. has learned how to concede defeat vis-a-vis Muslims in recent years but it has failed to learn any lessons from these defeats. 206/103
