Iranian Foreign Minister said the United States' unilateral withdrawal from a multilateral nuclear with Iran shows how much the deal serves Iran's interests.

Iran PressIran news: At the Iranian Parliament to respond to questions from lawmakers on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said no deal would meet all of a negotiating party's demands.

Still, Iranian Foreign Minister said, the Iran deal proved to have been negotiated "with such solidity" that the US pullout from Iran deal has become a "scandal" for America, PressTV reported.

"Today, we can see, that, by the grace of God, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was so much in favor of Iran's interests that America has withdrawn from it scandalously," Zarif said.

"If you read the news from the entire world, you can see [a reflection of how] the US has had to walk back many of its' claims," the Iranian foreign minister noted.

"They (the Americans) made a lot of noise, saying they would bring Iran's oil sales down to zero by today. [And yet,] they put out a statement giving six more months [to Iran's oil clients]," Iranian Foreign Minister added.

Zarif said the US aimed to create a consensus against Iran over the JCPOA, but the deal was so strong that they failed.

Zarif also reacted to US unilateral sanctions on a tweet post.

US President Donald Trump withdrew Washington from the nuclear agreement in May and reintroduced sanctions on Iran in August. The second wave of sanctions, which targets Iran’s oil exports and central bank, is due to start in early November.

Despite Trump's hostile policy towards the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said  on October 6, that the EU should remain strong on its' commitment to the historic Iran nuclear deal.

The Iranian foreign minister said: “while mutual trust is not a requirement to start negotiations, mutual respect is a requirement.” Mehr News Agency reported.

“We reached an agreement with the US, not a two-page agreement, but a 150-page agreement," referring to US' agreement with North Korea, and then the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, dubbed JCPOA. "And the United States decided to walk away from it. It wasn’t our fault that the US is not a reliable negotiating partner. It’s a problem that the international community is facing,” he added.

“I thought that we could create a different example, to put aside the past. Unfortunately, this administration proved that impossible,” said Zarif.

Upon the interviewer's persistence that Iran is waiting for a different administration in the US to start negotiations, Zarif said: “we need a different approach, we don’t need an administration that has a different approach. I believe that human beings are able to change. This administration can have a different approach.”

“We are willing to wait out this approach. The Trump administration can change its' approach. We don’t interfere in the domestic politics of the US. It’s up to the Americans to decide who they want to have to elect as their leader. We want to see a different approach. We don’t care about who is behind that approach,” Iranian Foreign Minister concluded. 105/201
