Secretary of Iran’s supreme national security council Ali Shamkhani warned about relocation of defeated terrorists from Iraq and Syria to Afghanistan.

Iran Press/Irannews: "A huge political stream is going on with the money of some countries in order to transfer defeated terrorists from Iraq and Syria to Afghanistan and to its' outer borders," Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said to reporters in the sideline of the first meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states.

"Security officials from Iran, Russia, India, Afghanistan, China and Pakistan were supposed to take part in the first meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states, but Islamabad could not participate in the meeting because of the formation of a new government in the country," Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council noted, according to Iran Press.

Referring to the security condition of the region, terrorism and actions took by some transnational and a few regional countries in support of terrorists, Shamkhani said that the goal of these actions is to lead and spread insecurity in the region.

"A huge political stream is going on with the money of some countries in order to transfer defeated terrorists from Iraq and Syria to Afghanistan and to its' outer borders. They do it in order to destabilize Afghanistan and its' outer borders. So the first meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states paid special attention to this issue," Shamkhani added.

"By calling the first meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states a successful one, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said that the participants in the meeting have had a very close approaches."

"The participants in the meeting have agreed to hold it annually and on a rotational basis. At the end of each meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states, a statement would be release," Shamkhani said.

The first meeting of security secretaries and advisers of regional states took place in Parsian Azadi Hotel in Tehran.

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani hosted Wednesday’s meeting dubbed ‘Regional Security Dialogue,’ which was joined by his counterparts from Russia, China, India and Afghanistan, Nikolai Patrushev, Dang Jing Wing, Ajit Doval, and Hamdullah Mohib, respectively.
