Iran Press- Iran News/ The accident happened in Kashan-Natanz freeway at 11:30 PM local time on Monday night. The bus, full of passengers, had departed Tehran for Kerman when it collided with a fuel truck and overturned on the side of the road, catching fire.
The director of Isfahan’s medical emergencies told Mehr News correspondent that unfortunately, 21 individuals have lost their lives in this tragic accident, with a further 27 injured.
The reason for this accident is currently under investigation, with police continuing their inquiry into the accident.
President Hassan Rouhani sent a message to express condolences over the passing of a number of citizens in this tragic bus accident and wished rapid recovery for those who have been injured in the accident.
Rouhani also called for immediate and proper treatment of those injured and finding the cause of the accident.
