Iran press/Iran news : Iran's deputy of defense minister Admiral Amir Rastgari who also chairs Iran's marine industries organization in an exclusive interview with Iran Press international news agency while explaining about Islamic Republic of Iran's marine industry announced that supreme council for Iran's marine industries have developed a new project dubbed as "plan for vigorous development in Iran's marine industries" for commissioning the leased marine vessels in The Caspian Sea as well as in the Persian Gulf to reduce the annual cost of millions of dollars paid for renting the watercrafts .
He also went on to say that the new plan also includes the renovation of the shipment fleet used for shipment of goods and oil condensate as well as making and designing the logistic watercrafts suitable for offshore platforms .The Top defense official continued to say that the new project includes production of more than 176 marine vessels. Rastgari told Iran press correspondent that the task of making 3 types of the aforementioned watercrafts have been unveiled simultaneously in Tehran Bandar Abbas and Bandar Anzali .
Amir Rastgari went on to stress the fact Iran's marine industries organization affiliated to Iran's Defense ministry is "proud to say that it can supply all of the marine needs and necessities and Iran is among handful of countries which are capable of manufacturing such advanced marine facilities along with platforms and related armaments and equipments .
According to Iranian Top marine Official ,Iranian Submarine called "Fater" will be completed by the end of the current year which is 100 percent Iranian.The product is considered as one of the main tools for deterrence.
His remarks came on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of Iran's new plan of vigorous development in marine industry base on Resistance economy held on Sat Sep 1,2018 .
