Meanwhile, Iran’s 19th gold came in discus throw as Ehsan Hadadi topped the podium and earned the record of 4 consecutive gold medals at the Asian Games.

On the other hand, women’s Canoe Polo of Iran finished in the first place in the 2018 Asian Games on Wednesday by defeating Singapore 5-2 in the final match.
For the first time, canoe polo is being contested as demonstration sport. Medals awarded in the category will not count towards the final tally.
Iran’s medal tally rises to 52, including 19 gold, 16 silver and 17 bronze medals to maintain the 5th position. China remains at the top with 102 golds, Japan stands in 2nd with 52, South Korea
2018 Asian Games, officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta Palembang 2018, is a pan-Asian multi-sport event.
The event is underway from 18 August to 2 September in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
