First Iranian-manufactured fighter jet, "Kowthar" was officially unveiled on Tuesday, which is Iran's national day of defence industry . The fighter jet has been made by Iranian defence industry engineers and scientists.

According to an Iran Press report, the new generation fighter jet has advanced features  such as multi-purpose fully digital displays, Multi-function display (MFD), an advanced on-board computer for tracking of targets, advanced flight instrument systems,  advanced multi-purpose RADAR system,  and fire control system  for  gathering and processing of information on targets.

Target information from  sensors is monitored by a Fire Control Computer on board the Kowthar fighter jet.

The indigenous Iranian-manufactured fighter jet  represents  a great achievement for Iran's defence industry.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is now one of just a handful of countries capable of manufacturing advanced organic fighter jets. Tuesday, 21 August,  is Iran's national day of defence industry. 

Meanwhile, a new precision-guided land, air missile was unveiled on Aug 13, 2018 morning in the presence of  Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Amir Hatami.

This Home-Made anti-radiation missile dubbed Fateh Mobin, can target goals in land and sea.

Iran's Defense Minister, Brigadier General Amir Hatami, who was present at the inauguration ceremony, said  Iran will continue to maintain its advanced deterrent missile program.

Last month, Iran unveiled the mass-production line of a medium-range air-to-air missile, Fakour.

Fakour is a radar-equipped mid-range air-to-air missile which has been designed and built with the help of the latest state-of-the-art world technologies,"  Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami. said, addressing the ceremony in Tehran.

General Hatami also said,We are living in a world where impudent enemies understand no language but the language of power. There is no way to deal with the enemies of Iran except decisive threat.'
