Iran Press - Ghasemi on Thursday dismissed provisions of the 11-point statement of the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) permanent representatives, held at the headquarters of the OIC's General Secretariat in Jeddah.
He also strongly condemned the allegations leveled against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the statement.
He said representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran fail to attend the OIC meetings in Jeddah due to Saudis' not issuing any visa for them.
'Such statements are prepared and issued under Saudi Arabia's pressures and in an unfair and unilateral way.'
He said Yemen aggressors, that are responsible for more than several years of human crises and daily massacre of defenseless Yemeni people by the most sophisticated purchased military and the ruining of the country's infrastructures, issue such 'worthless' statements and abuse regional and international institutions and mechanisms to cover up their crimes and divert regional and world public opinion.
He went on to say that issuance of such statements in the name of OIC and by abusing credit of the Organization will cause distrust of the members, while spoiling the capital and capacity of the member countries.
He added that the practices will also prove incompetency of the OIC in dealing with the main issues gripping the world of Islam and weaken the position of the Organization internationally.
