"In a time that world is experiencing digital evolution, electronic services are developing, and startup businesses are witnessing growth every day, one of the challenges that the world is experiencing is the personal data protection. Different countries including EU are working on this issue to protect personal data", Iran's minister of information and communications technology, Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said in response to the question of Iran press international news agency reporter.
"Also in Iran, from the beginning of 12th government we designed a plan to manage the challenge of personal data protection" The Iranian minister added.
"With the help of Majlis research centre and Iran's judicial system research centre, we have drafted a bill which in the beginning it was delivered to the elites in the framework of crowdsourcing. We have considered their considerations and then we finalised and signed it. We sent it to Iranian government", Azari Jahromi noted.
"This bill is a great help for the growth of startup businesses and it is important for personal data protection. It became more important with the Fatwa of Iranian Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei", Iran's minister of information and communications technology, stated
"We hope that the bill will be proved as soon as possible in the sack of legal infrastructure development in digital transformation", Azari Jahromi concluded.
